I feel like the Christian life is impossible. It's full of paradox. I feel like it's the duty of Christians to be harmoniously unsettled. It's "be perfect as I am perfect" and "all have fallen short." It's the last being first, without being last SO that I'm first. It's the belief that I can always be doing more. More for God, more for people, more for myself.
So I think it's my lifelong goal to find harmony in the paradoxes. It's easing my mind and sharpening it at the same time.

But I feel the most meaning and usefulness out of living in a city where I have friends, a job, and pay rent. I love movies, baseball, pool, good beer, KU, darts, mariokart, and wine. But all of these things come in second to a good conversation about something that matters. I hate it when people don't say I'm sorry, I'm wrong, or I lost, when they are sorry, are wrong, or did lose. But I hate it the most when I do these things myself. My life is a paradox, but I try my best to find small harmonies in a good life.
